Carventis began with a practical observation: groups travelling together across Kedah and into neighbouring states were routinely splitting across two or three smaller cars, juggling coordination, comparing arrival times, and dealing with the general friction that comes with it. There was no particular shortage of standard rental options — but few were structured around the group as a unit.
The founders — people with backgrounds in logistics and overland travel support — put together a small fleet of eight-seater MPVs and built a rental process that treats the group as the primary customer, not the individual driver. A dedicated group lead handover, route planning input, and for longer trips, a coordinator who stays in contact — these weren't features that came later. They were built in from the start.
Today, Carventis operates from Alor Setar and serves groups ranging from family reunions and school outings to small corporate travel parties heading to locations across Peninsular Malaysia. The approach hasn't changed: clear process, well-maintained vehicles, and honest communication throughout.

How We Prepare Every Rental
Each rental follows a consistent process. These are the protocols we apply before, during, and after every booking.
Pre-Departure Vehicle Check
Fuel, tyre pressure, air conditioning, interior cleanliness, and engine status are confirmed on a checklist before each rental handover.
Licence Verification
The designated driver's Malaysian driving licence is verified and recorded at handover, consistent with JPJ road transport requirements.
Vehicle Coverage
All rental vehicles carry appropriate motor insurance for passenger carrying. Coverage details are provided to the group lead at handover.
Scheduled Cleaning (Weeklong)
Seven-day rentals include a mid-trip cleaning appointment, arranged by the coordinator to keep the vehicle comfortable for the second half of the journey.
On-Trip Support Line
A direct contact number is provided to the group lead. Operational queries during the rental are handled by a staff member, not a recorded message.
Data Handling
Personal details collected at booking are kept confidentially and used only for rental administration. We do not share customer records with third parties.

Our three rental packages — one day, three days, and seven days — are structured around the most common group travel patterns we've observed. Day trips within Kedah or to Penang. Three-day loops taking in several states. Week-long tours down the peninsula or along the east coast. Each package is priced clearly, with no additions for standard usage within the mileage allowance.
